DISNEYLAND AFTER DARK

By SAM MCPHEETERS

Hopefully we shouldn’t have to tell you who Sam McPheeters is, but just as a quick mid-Summer refresher Sam helmed the absolutely unoverratable Born Against, wrote hilarious screeds for practically everybody of worth’s liner notes and zines (including his own Error ), expressed his appreciation for the beauty of American women, played in Wrangler Brutes and Men’s Recovery Project, dressed up as Patrick Henry and did a bunch of intense spoken-word shows never once breaking character, and now sends us articles once every couple of months about what he’s been up to since the last thing he sent. Mensch does not even begin to describe it.

This month an old friend of Sam’s invited him to take a bunch of inner-city teens to the Magic Kingdom for Disneyland’s annual “Grad Nite” lock-in/heavy-petting endurance challenge. Read about how it went on Viceland.
