In Episode One of Knapsack Bartender, host Jordan Redaelli travels to Freetown, Sierra Leone, to learn about an indigenous drink called poyo. Poyo is said hold mystical properties, bestowing money, power and fierce erections to those who drink it. Later, he hits the beach to mix up a poyo-infused cocktail. Let's hope the locals aren't too offended.
This is the first in a series produced by VICE and Schweppes where we travel to far-flung places and make new cocktails using strange, indigenous booze.
