Fucked Up and Metz Are Starring in an Indie Music Game Called 'Loud on Planet X'

If you've ever wanted to see Fucked Up's lead singer Pink Eyes tear off his shirt and do battle with an oncoming horde of aliens while the band shreds in the background, now's the time. For the next month, Canadian indie game developer Pop Soundbox is asking for donations to their Kickstarter page so they can finish up their arcade-style music game, Loud on Planet X, which pits cartoon versions of Canadian musicians like Tegan and Sara, Metz, Metric, and Fucked Up against an onslaught of aliens. Loud on Planet X is part Guitar Hero and part tower defense game, but with a score of exclusive music from members of Fucked Up and Broken Social Scene. If you thought Scott Pilgrim was too twee and needed more VICE hosts and hardcore singers involved, donate to the Loud on Planet X Kickstarter.
