On Monday former VICE managing editor and recently appointed cultural news editor of the Daily Beast Michael Moynihan and I headed to Washington, DC to see what our nation's great capital had to say on the day of the third presidential debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Our whirlwind excursion brought us within crack-smoke-blowing distance from Marion Barry, to a joint Ru-Paul's Drag Race/debate party at DC's premier gay sports bar, and, finally, inside the gurgling mind of an acid freak with napkin rings in his earlobes.
