• Obama: I Want the Truth
  President Obama has ordered an investigation into whether intelligence reports were altered to paint a more optimistic picture of the war against the Islamic State. Obama wants the Pentagon's inspector general to find "the truth" over allegations of manipulation. —The New York Times

• Trump Totally Fine with Protester Being 'Roughed Up'
  Donald Trump has refused to apologize for suggesting a Black Lives Matter activist "maybe should have been roughed up." Mercutio Southall was shoved and kicked by white Trump supporters for heckling at a rally in Alabama. —CNN

• Shootings in New Orleans Park
  Police say 16 people were wounded when two groups of people opened fire on each other during a gathering of hundreds of people taking part in a music video. The mayor of New Orleans is calling on people to come forward with information. —NBC News

• Naloxone Saving Lives
  More than 80 percent of heroin overdose victims revived by opioid antidote Naloxone were rescued by other heroin users. Baltimore alone has trained 12,000 people on the streets how to administer Naloxone effectively. —The Washington Post

• Lockdown in Brussels
  Belgian police have made 16 arrests after raids in Brussels and Charleroi, but Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam is still at large. Brussels remains on the highest level of terror alert, with schools, universities and the metro system closed today. —BBC News

• Argentina Gets New President
  Conservative politician Mauricio Macri, the son of one of Argentina's richest men, has won his country's presidential elections, promising free-market reforms. Macri victory ends 12 years of rule by the center-left Peronist party. —AP

• Landslide in Myanmar
  At least 104 people have been killed and another 100 are still missing after a mountain of debris gave way near a jade mine in Myanmar's Kachin State. The military was working with local residents in rescue efforts. —CNN
• Hong Kong Elects Umbrella Soldiers
  Eight candidates involved in last year's pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong have won office following district-level elections. Known as the Umbrella Soldiers, they are named after the protests in which activists used umbrellas to guard against tear gas. —Reuters

• Belgium Turns to Cat Pics
  How do you respond to a terror lockdown? Cats. An official request for Belgian citizens to avoid tweeting anything informing terrorists of what was going on resulted in a national outbreak of cat pics. —The Guardian

• Astronomers Observe Birth of a Planet
  For the first time ever, astronomers have been able to capture snapshots of the birth of baby exoplanets. The evidence shows gas developing into planets as it orbits a young star called LkCa 15. —Motherboard
• Is it OK to Smoke Weed While Pregnant?
