A High School Teacher Showed 'Human Centipede 2' in Class

We don't know why a group of teens were shown the torture porn or—more importantly—why they started with the sequel instead of the original.

A Tennessee high school teacher is in deep shit after showing Human Centipede 2 to a class full of students, the Jackson Sun reports.

The superintendent of Jackson Central-Merry High School sent out a concerned letter to parents apologizing for the incident and condemning the "inappropriate and unacceptable film," which is about a guy who sews people together, ass to mouth, thus creating the titular centipede.

Missing from the superintendent's letter, however, was any explanation as to why the group of teens were shown the torture porn or—more importantly—why they started with the sequel instead of the original.

Human Centipede 2 is shot in black and white, so maybe the teacher just lumped it in with other black and white film classics like La Jeteé or a Bergman film or something.

Was it an anatomy lesson gone awry? Did the teacher just assume the students had already been exposed to some seriously heinous stuff thanks to the internet and figured it was chill? The world may never have the whole story, but according to the letter, "immediate action has been taken to assure that there will be no further occurrences," so kids will have to watch Human Centipede 3 on their own time.

Whoever the perp was, hopefully he or she takes solace in knowing that there's one person on his or her side—Tom Six, director and mastermind behind the entire series. Six supported the teacher on Twitter Thursday morning, saying, "it should be mandatory to watch THC2 in school classes. It deals with a character that is bullied and what to do!"
