How cool would it be if pizza delivery guys wore capes? Bill Meier, who delivers pies for Williamsburg's Best Pizza, is thinking of rocking one as he bikes around town, and we couldn't support him more.
For this episode of Munchies, we follow Bill and Best Pizza's owner, Frank Pinello, as they eat some of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn's, well, best pizza. Frank also gives us a little history lesson in Brooklyn pizzerias and explains how back in the day, using top-shelf ingredients was the norm, but over the years, frugal-minded pizzaiolos started skimping on the good stuff. Frank does things the old way, and that's why his slices are the shit.
