Photographer Gabriel Uchida started taking pictures of Brazilian football hooligans back in 2009. When we asked him to give us some of his photos of their wonderful tattoos to post on our site, he volunteered to go out and take some fresh ones. Which was a nice thing to say, but he soon took back his offer, claiming that he'd been "advised to stay away, for my safety, because of recent events".
So, you'll just have to do with the old photos – apologies to all you Brazilian football hooligan tattoo art aficionados out there who've probably seen these a zillion times already.
