It's time once again for us to all have some lulz at some people who are scared of the world.

Cry-Baby #1: Some creationists on Facebook

The incident: Dr Pepper posted the above ad to their Facebook page.

The appropriate reaction: Either buying some Dr Pepper, or not buying any Dr Pepper. Depending on the ad's effect on you.

The actual reaction: A bunch of creationist weirdos posted outraged comments, and declared they were boycotting Dr Pepper:

Sigh.

Unfortunately, you can't go look at the funny comments on their FB any more, as someone posted it to Reddit's /r/atheism subreddit, and thousands and thousands of smug, self-righteous nerds flocked over to leave comments of their own. Bleugh.

Cry-Baby #2: Some ginger woman

The incident: A bank worker said to a customer: "I bet you're glad your daughter isn't ginger, like you."

The appropriate reaction: Saying something mean back to the bank worker. Maybe something about her weight or her height. Or, if she were especially ugly or had some weird scar or something, something about that. That's how these things work.

The actual reaction: According to an article in The Daily Mail, irate red-headed bank customer Laura Payton (pictured above) was "stunned" and "furious".

Upon leaving the bank, she called their customer services department and complained about the event, which she described as both "completely unacceptable" and "a form of racism".

The bank's head office, for some reason, offered to pay her £25 compensation. But Laura wasn't happy with this, and "repeatedly called Halifax's complaints department to chase up the grievance". Eventually, she was given £150 and a letter of apology (!!!!!!!!!), but this STILL wasn't good enough for Laura, who felt she still had not yet "received a proper apology". So she contacted newspapers to tell them all about it.

This happened in July. And the article ran in The Mail a few days ago. Can you imagine being so fucking lame that you're still whining two months later because someone said something shitty about your hair!? Yikes.
