Aren’t films great? I love it best when Colin Farrell and Dita Von Teese chase a Slovakian secret agent over rooftops to try and stop him throwing an explosive laptop at the president of Europe. Our new issue is all about cinema and it’s got interviews with people like Terry Gilliam, David Lynch, Spike Jonze, Michael Winner, great lost British surrealist Jack Bond, Ray Winstone on Play For Today, Werner Herzog, and Alicia Silverstone discussing the legacy of Dogma 95. Anyway, you should go and find it, because it’s in all the usual spots right now. We're having a party to celebrate at the Old Blue Last on Thursday the 17th of September, with free shots of sambucca and cheap booze, and music from ardent film fans the Cheek. First person to email in and guess the Cheek's favourite film wins a pound and a massage.
