So, the whole fucking country failed to elect someone decisively after months of talking about it. Thankfully our readers are more emphatic when it comes to deciding who they like. Our online poll of candidates from the VBS.tv series Election resulted in the sort of one sided, totalitarian result that any democratic process should be proud of.

Alan Belmore, the Liberal Democrat candidate for Hemsworth, was without question the most popular of the rising political stars featured in the films. He was even more popular than the dashing Joe Cooke of the OCA, the ever bickering Conservatives of North London, the sultry Mo of Greenwich and the kickboxing nut cases from the BNP. We made him a plaque so that he can always remember the day that the readers of Viceland and the viewers of VBS decided he was brilliant.
