CREATIVE 30 - CLANCY CHASSAY
Today we meet Clancy Chassay, 28, multimedia journalist from London.
"I do a lot of work with Frontline and they
told me about Clancy’s work. He is definitely a one to watch. Frontline and the people they work with ‘champion independent journalism.’ This work takes
tremendous courage and dedication – and should be recognised.”
Clancy is a
multimedia correspondent with an international remit. He has recently returned
from Beirut where he worked as a foreign correspondent for the Guardian since
2006...
While there he also contributed to the Economist, The Independent and The
Sunday Telegraph. Before studying philosophy and international relations at
university, he worked in creative development, devising TV show concepts and
documentaries primarily for Channel 4. He also shot two short films during
that time and is currently refining the script to a longer fiction film.
