Heads_1Everybody in Germany is yelling “wimps!” at Berlin's Deutsche Oper opera house after they cancelled a production of a Mozart opera called Idomeneo which features starring roles from the severed heads of the Prophet Muhammad, Jesus and Buddha...

The Berlin Police Department said it had “analyzed security risks” and warned that disturbances from Islamic fundamentalists couldn’t be ruled out, so they’ve totally shut down the play in conjunction with the opera house.

This comes in the same week that the German Government is holding a conference aimed at promoting dialogue with the country’s 3.2 million Muslims, who make up a massive FOUR PER CENT of the country’s population.

While we could care less about opera, we have to say that this is the biggest case of “scaredy-cat syndrome” we have heard this year. Especially when you take this little movie into account.
