Gifs Are Great

Someone sent us a link to these photos with gifs strategically placed on top of them and it slingshotted our day from the bottom of a dark hangover to a place where we're ready to crack another beer now. There's nothing that completes a party picture quite like one of those yellow Pokemon things surfing the champagne wave of a freshly popped bottle of bubbly.

The images are a collaborative deal between Alex Martinez and Lacey Micallef, two people who have a crapload of recreational time on their hands, a serious catalog of gifs, and are pretty good at pointing a camera at things to boot. After looking at these photos for the better part of the morning it's fair to say that most pictures can be kicked up a notch with a dying orange catfish flopping around in the grass or some sparkly stars on top of a bottle of drugs. Or maybe we're just still drunk.
