LONDON - STUFF WHITE PEOPLE LIKE

Christian Lander is like the Jacques Cousteau of caucasians. His blog, Stuff White People Like, offers the most accurate analysis of
middle class crackers available on the internet. We dropped in on him to poke fun at honkies (it's cool, I'm white).
Vice: Why are white people so easy to make fun of?
Christian Lander: They're like that know-it-all kid in school that makes himself a target. Whenever you see that he's contradicting himself you have to jump on it.
Do you have a pseudo-scientific way to figure out what to post next? Or do you just watch The View and read Salon.com?
I do have a theory. I think of the people I went to school with and then I say "Would they get excited about this?" If the answer is yes, then I write it.
If you started a blog called "Stuff Indian People Like" or "Stuff Aborigines Like" do you think you'd get hassled about it?
I get hassled for this blog! I think it's all in the context and tone of how you write it. If those blogs brought out the similarities and shared tastes of people within that culture, it's hard to see how it'd be perceived as offensive. Of course, if they were written to be hurtful or demeaning, then it's an entirely different story. Most of the uppity white people who comment on my site desperately want to tell themselves they don't see race.
I want to start a blog called "Stuff White People Trying To Be Black Like"?
I hope to god that we never run out of white thugs/wiggers/Kevin Federlines. They are a source of inspiration and hilarity.
What's whiter? Jerry Seinfeld stand-up, reading a J Crew catalogue while drinking French pressed coffee, or cross country skiing?
Cross country skiing, or as I call it "the bad kind of skiing."
