Michael Jackson RIP
Yep, Mikey passed away a few hours ago. Very sad news indeed. Our sincerest condolences go to Bubbles and Uri Geller and all who cared most about Michael.
As you'd expect, all news outlets have been frantically working themselves into a frenzy, tirelessly talking about something which is very clear cut: a man has died before his time. It follows the same tedious formula every time a famous person passes away.
BBC News 24 are reporting Aston Kutcher's Jackson Tweets like they're news. Sky News seems to have spoken on the phone to everyone with even the most tenuous link to Jacko. Earlier they spoke to a woman who knew Jackson's ex-stylist.
Meanwhile the Times, presumably having sacked all of their night staff, appear to be none the wiser to the event and are still asking on their website "Is Jacko up to his concert marathon?".
We're too busy weeping to say much else right now so enjoy some Wacko and McCartney action below. PS. We hope he comes back as a zombie, like in "Thriller". Now that is something we'd pay an extortionate amount of money to go to the O2 to see.
UPDATE: We've managed to get some celebs on the phone to get their reaction. This is what each of them had to say.
Macaulay Culkin: "You could say he really touched me."
Mark Ronson: "Dude was hella talented, mate."
