MISSISSIPPI - THUMBS UP!

It is Wednesday, folks, which as always means a new episode of
Thumbs Up! On this week’s edition, David and Harry stock up on rations
at the Wonder Bread factory store and get ready to take the plunge out
of Memphis and into the wilds of Mississippi.

In VBS News, we return to the Athabasca Oil Sands for the eighth
installment of our Toxic Alberta series. Up until now we’ve sort of
focused on the effect the extraction process has been having on the
environment, but today we take a little field trip to the offices of
Edmonton Police Department’s gang unit to see how the sudden influx of
oil money has been received by the province’s criminal population.
Turns out, with open, weapon-laden arms.
