Native America's Garage Rock Doesn’t Make You Want to Punch a Stranger

Native America aren't kidding themselves about being edgy or "important." They make garage rock correctly and don't pretend that they're doing something groundbreaking—they're just playing guitar music to dance to.

There are way too many bands who want to be the Black Lips, but Native America doesn't fall into that trap. They aren't taking themselves too seriously. The band makes garage rock correctly and they don't pretend that they're doing something groundbreaking. The New Orleans-based band just plays guitar music you can dance to, which is rarer and rarer these days since everyone is resorting to either noise, hype rap, or clinical depression in order to be edgy.

All About You is innocent and sweet and will make you want to make out in your mom's Isuzu Trooper with that kid you dated freshman year in high school. Check it out.
