POST-IT ART IS FOR LOVERS (OF ART)

Giant Robot has been putting on these shows for the last three years where they get a whole bunch of comics-makers and illustrators to doodle on Post-It notes and then sell them for $20. If you lived in LA, you could go and buy them, but you don't, so you can look at them here instead.
Because the prescribed medium is so teensy and adhesive, they just stick them all over the walls until the entire store is like one huge book of gag panels that you can pull off and say "I buy this." You could consider this as an extended critique on the commodification of fine art in the age of mechanical and digital reproduction and the primacy of images if you are A FUCKING LOSER, but all we know is they're stickies all drawn on by some of the finest drawers of our age.
Drawers like...

Gillian Wilson, Nick Gazin, Marc Johns, Jeffrey Brown, Ray Sohn, and Travis Lampe...

Lisa Hanawalt, Apak!, and Allison Cole...

Matt Furie, Connie Wong, and Zack Soto...

Luke Ramsey, Aiyana Udesen, and "Skinner"...
and the comics world's eternally-crusading moralist, Johnny Ryan.

Post-it 4 starts this Saturday at some time. Click here for Deez Tails.
