SXSW - BEST SHOW EVER

So on the Friday night of South By South West, a guy called Timmy put a show on at the Lamar Bridge in Austin. Brutal Knights and No Age played amazing sets to like 1,000 kids. The police turned up at either sides of the bridge to try and shut the party down, but there were so many people there they couldn't even begin to disperse it. The highlight of the whole shebang was Fucked Up's set. It lasted for about 15 minutes and, during the last song, both guitarists Josh Zucker and Ben Cook had given up playing and were crowd surfing dangerously close to the edge of the bridge and the 50ft drop to the warm, bathlike (but still potentially deadly) waters below. Here's a short clip of "Crusades" shot by the singer Damian's wife Lauren. It gives you a trillionth of an inkling of just how totally fucking amazing it was. We have goose bumps typing this now.
