JONESIN' ON MEOW MEOW
According to The Daily Mail, who could, by the way, be pulling that drug moniker out of their ass, 180 Leicestershire kids were out sick from school after taking Meow-Meow, aka Mephedrone. The Daily Mail says Mephedrone’s a chemical sold legally as fertilizer, but it’s more accurately identified as an MDMA analog with off-label agricultural applications — the stuff’s way too expensive to be scattering on crops.
With research chemicals like Mephedrone popping up in the bellies of youngsters across North America and Europe, it’s only a matter of time before they’re quasi-legal status is downgraded in the name of protecting children. Remember how MDMA possession only became a crime after some 16 year old died from drinking too much water? We’re seeing history repeat itself with RCs. Sure, consuming mystery chemicals with dubious long term effects to achieve a tainted, marginal roll is a questionable misuse of brain cells, but it shouldn’t be criminal.
