If you don't work in "the industry," you might be unaware of all the self-congratulatory awards and reach-arounds the media world gives itself this time of year. Much like the Oscars (but with ugly people and no audience), most of these awards are bullshit. There are, however, a few of these seasonal compliments we're happy to be a part of. Ad Age's top ten magazine covers of the year is one of them.Though they didn't mention its title, our prestigious TP for Your Bunghole Issue sits proudly next to the nine other best covers of the year—covers that range from TIME's iconic Osama bin Laden to The Economist's European edition's, which depicts Greece threatening to destroy the value of the euro.Yes, it's official. Our Beavis and Butt-Head cover is one of the ten best magazine covers of the year (according to some people at Ad Age). And probably ever (according to us).
