Our friends Team Spirit just dropped a new music video from their upcoming album, Killing Time, out in two weeks. The video gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the band in the studio, which apparently consists of muppets smoking weed and meeting the devil.

Judging by the band's candy-coated Thin Lizzy sound, we always assumed that they crafted their songs in asbestos basements between bouts of sewing patches on denim vests and drawing dicks on the passed-out guy in the corner. Their studio process involves more puppet versions of Lucifer than expected, but we were right about all the denim.

"Surrender" is three-and-a-half minutes of garage-pop and handclaps that sound like the theme to a late-night beer run. It's a grimy, catchy party anthem and we wouldn't have been surprised if the band broke into a "We're all alright" chant, like the Cheap Trick song Team Spirit stole their title from.

Killing Time is out September 30 on VICE / Warner Bros. Pre-order the album here or swing by Baby's All Right in Brooklyn on October 1 to catch Team Spirit's hometown album release show.
