Get Drunk and Shop at the #jacques Cocktail Mixer on Thursday in NYC
Aug 28 2013
Elliot Aronow is a busy guy. After working as an editor over at the Fader, he had a hand in creating RCRDLBL, the world's first legal download blog. From there he transitioned into fashion and style, contributing to publications like Playboy and Refinery29. He's known for his advice columns on relationships and fashion, which are a saving grace for guys like us who have skid marks in our drawers and meet ladies at the free clinic.
Using his reach in the blogosphere, he's created what he calls "a lifestyle movement" under the moniker #jacques. #jacques mixes classy old man stuff with some of the dirtbag sensibilities Elliot acquired from his days of punk-rocking and skateboarding.
Through the #jacques website, Aronow sells vintage clothing along with pieces from his private label. If you're interested in seeing what the fuss is about, stop by Isa in Williamsburg Thursday night. Some items from Elliot's #jacques X Brooklyn Tailors collaboration will be shown and sold, along with cocktails and good times.
