Gatekeeper's pretty much the hottest horror techno band in the universe right now. ALL my friends want to fuck them...bad. Especially the gay ones. Tonight is the band's long-anticipated Halloween record release party for their new EP Optimus Maximus. Advance notice: it's uh-mazing. In honor of Halloween, we've asked Gatekeeper to come up with a ghoulish YouTube playlist and say a few words about the clips. Here it is, along with a track off their new album. Hellraiser II: Hellbound trailer We love early CG visualizations of alternate dimensions full of brutalist architecture and torture.

Skinny Puppy - "Assimilate" Our friend Elon from White Car found a two-hour long VHS tape of this whole concert in a thrift store. So good.

Mark Shreeve - "Assasin" Literally Gatekeeper ground zero. We decided to start a band after watching this video together.
