Guess what? Jaimie has an opening tonight at the Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design called The WHOAS of Female Tragedy. The exhibition is a series of hilarious, intricate self-portraits Jaimie has taken over the past ten years.

Guess what? Jaimie has an opening tonight at the Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design called The WHOAS of Female Tragedy. The exhibition is a series of hilarious, intricate self-portraits Jaimie has taken over the past ten years. The show will also feature a new series of her photographs, which are recreations of photo-shopped collages of historical paintings and visual pairings of pop culture icons created by anonymous users found on the internet. Jaimie worked with artist Lee Heinemann, who created custom makeup, props, and masks. Jaimie told us, “This show is great because I have been focusing only on the kids show I do, Whoop Dee Doo, for years! But now I have been creating a ton of new work! So I’m super excited to be going in a very new direction with a lot of new stuff.”

This is the first time we are actually jealous of anyone who lives in Florida. You’d be an idiot to miss this show.
