NOISEY LAUNCHES THIS FRIDAY
Mar 15 2011
Yesterday we were so excited to tell you about our excellent SXSW showcases on Thursday and Saturday that we completely forgot to mention the totally amazing show we're putting on in Austin on Friday: The Noisey Showcase!
For those of you unfamiliar, Noisey's our new music website dedicated to capturing and broadcasting live performances by our favorite bands from around the world, interviewing band members and fans, and connecting you--the listener--to new music. Think of it as music television for the internet.
To celebrate the launch of this brandy new, all-killer-no-filler music website, we're putting on one of the best showcases at SXSW 2011. Hyperbole, you say? Read 'em and weep:
BUN B (SXSW EXCLUSIVE)
ARIEL PINK'S HAUNTED GRAFFITI (SXSW EXCLUSIVE)
JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD
Yes, that's right: we're putting UGK's Bun B and Ariel Pink on the same stage--not to mention Yuck, Jeff the Brotherhood, Oberhofer, and Dirty Beaches. If you think you're going to find a better lineup, you're crazy--like, coo-coo meringue crazy. Time/location details for the show are below. Be sure to check out Noisey, when it goes live this Friday and follow the site on Twitter for all the music news that's fit to text.
