The Australian Rules Football Grand Final Was a Big Messy Party

We walked around Melbourne on Saturday to capture the mess left behind.

Every year, Australians in some particular states lose their heads over the Australian Rules Football Grand Final. It brings families and friends together over a game that's rarely interesting when there's only two teams left, and then everyone drinks. Saturday's game was a typical mix of ruthless and sloppy, seeing Hawthorn belt West Coast by 46 points, their third win in three years. Then, as mentioned, the victors partied while everyone else grumbled about how much of a fizzer it all was. Photographer Sam Wong headed down to the Melbourne Cricket Ground to capture some of the post-game fallout.
