Photos of the Things Left Behind by Refugees Fleeing Their Homes Forever

      January 15, 2016

Harrison Bruhn is a 21-year-old photojournalist who has been covering the refugee crisis in Europe. In his series An Unnatural Union he documents the belongings left behind by families in the hopes to shed light on peoples' connections to personal objects and ask the question, "What would you take if you had to leave your home forever?"
