Ian Markell is a 20-year-old Losangelino who lives and works in New York. He is often seen riding around town on a motorcycle—which is hard to imagine, considering he takes pictures with this thing. We like to think of him zipping around the city on his bike with his camera strapped into a sidecar beside him, but he probably just carries it in a big bag or something. Not to get too fantastical about it, but it almost seems like he takes still-life pictures of people and portraits of things. If you're in New York tonight check out his first personal show, "Plastic Plaza," at 64 Gansevoort Street from 6 - 9.
