What's the Grossest Thing You've Seen in Public?
Feb 10 2012
Welcome to our new column, Question of the Day. It gives interns something to do!
Despite a cleaned up Times Square, New York City is still a cesspool filled with hordes of sick characters that do bizarre shit in public with no shame or remorse. We hit the streets to hear some of the grossest encounters people have had in a town where bums take sponge baths on the train and perverts feel totally comfortable whipping out their pecker at passing pedestrians.
Brian: I’ve seen a homeless dude diarrhea on the subway.
Were there a lot of people on the train?
Yeah. He had his pants on and then he just started to stand funny. You could just see his pants getting wet in the back. Then all the diarrhea came out right around his ankles.
What’s the grossest thing you’ve seen in public?
Aaron: Someone picking at their feet.
How’d you react?
Just turned away. The person was busy talking to someone just picking at their feet. The other person didn’t seem to mind though.
What's the weirdest thing you’ve see people do in public?
Marquis: Have sex.
You saw people have sex? Where?
On the 5 Train. They started kissing, and then groping on each other. Then he started eating her out.
Were they old and nasty?
No, it was a young crew. They were in their probably mid-20s.
Did you keep watching?
I moved to the next car.
