Rettsounds - Convalescence

I woke up bright-eyed and stinging with pain in my belly button to compile these tunes that—along with drugs from my doc—have enhanced my recovery.

As I nurse myself back to health, my physicians have been more than generous with the stuff that makes the pain go away. They must see the lack of tattoos and piercings, the generic suburban ski jacket, and the station wagon and just assume I’m some poor middle-aged sap who’s never had an issue with a substance stronger than Fanta and not think twice. Thank the Lord Treece they’re so gullible, seeing that funtime is over in the booze department due to my condition. There have been certain jams that sound particularly choice in that warm static condition these small roundies send me to. Of course, playing DJ while feeling in such a way is near impossible, so I’ve scrawled sloppy notes here and there on the back of CVS receipts trying to keep track of the good ones. And today, I woke up bright-eyed and stinging with pain in my belly button to compile these tunes that have enhanced my recovery. I hope you enjoy.

P.S.: I suggest having Point Break on the television with the sound down. But, hey, you take the journey however you want.
