On Saturday, April 21st, at the age of 29, Hector Saul Ramirez (AKA Hec) was struck and killed by the G train while bombing between stops. His wife Cristina Ramirez and friend Tami Brown wrote the following:Hec had to write on everything. It sometimes seemed like there weren't enough walls or trains or note pads in the world for all that he had to say. He got respect in the NYC Underground for getting up high and fat and often, and won awards in the design world as an art director. Hec made clothes and drew. He painted and took pictures. He was an artist. He was young. He had a lot more to say.Remember him by his life and his pictures. Hec will be sorely missed by his wife, family and friends.
