Recently VICE travelled to Muscle Shoals, AL, the birth place of R&B and home to some of the most celebrated recording studios in the history of American music.
Many of America’s great recording artists found their voice in Muscle Shoals and went there to capture this sound. VBS met with some of the legends of the industry who created the world-renowned Muscle Shoals sound, as well as the young, up and coming musicians.
