Clinton Denounces Immigrations Raids
Hillary Clinton has urged President Barack Obama to end immigration raids, and provide legal support for all children who arrived at the US border without parents. Raids launched on New Year's weekend have resulted in the arrest of at least 121 people so far this year.—NBC News

Alleged Abuse at Grand Canyon
A report out today has outlined a history of harassment at Grand Canyon National Park: employees allegedly propositioning female colleagues and touching them inappropriately. One park official said an attitude of "what happens on the river, stays on the river" pervaded.—AP

Bond Cut for Affluenza Teen's Mom
The mother of a Texas teen known for his "affluenza" defense after killing four people in a crash has had her bond cut from $1 million to $75,000. Tonya Couch is charged with hindering apprehension of a felon, but the judge said it didn't merit a $1 million bond.—USA Today

Obama Offered Biden Financial Help
Vice President Joe Biden has revealed President Obama offered his family financial assistance while his son Beau was battling cancer. Ten Killed in Istanbul Blast
Ten people have been killed and another 15 wounded after a large explosion in a central square in Istanbul. Police have sealed off the square in the city's historic Sultanahmet district, popular with tourists, close to the Blue Mosque.—Reuters

UN: 400 Must Be Evacuated From Madaya
Around 400 people in the besieged Syrian town of Madaya must be urgently evacuated for medical treatment, according to the UN. An aid convoy brought food to 40,000 people in the rebel-held town, where there have been credible reports of people dying of starvation.—BBC News

Canadian Captured in Afghanistan is Freed
Colin Rutherford has been freed five years after he was taken hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister thanked the Qatari government for its help securing his release. Qatar also played a role in the release of US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl.—VICE News IS Claims Responsibility for Iraq Bombings
At least 19 people were killed in a car bomb attack on the al-Jawhara shopping centre in Baghdad.
