Trump Likes Campaign Rallies So Much He's Going to Keep Doing Them

President-elect Donald Trump may have been too busy with his transition to go to trial for his fraud case, but he's apparently not too busy to take a victory lap around the country and throw a few more rallies before Inauguration Day.

Bloomberg reports that the "thank you tour" will kick-off this Thursday in downtown Cincinnati, hoping to recreate Trump's massive campaign rallies in the state that drew tens of thousands of supporters. A second event is rumored to be held in Iowa, with more dates to come.

Trump spokesman George Gigicos told reporters Tuesday that the tour will throw rallies in "swing states [the Trump campaign] flipped over," presumably speaking of formerly blue battleground states like Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Gigicos also corrected reporters who called it a "victory tour," preferring the phrase "thank you tour."

Mike Pence will most likely join the president on some tour dates like a less-famous opening band, and there will probably be some of those new "USA 45" hats for sale at the Trump merch table.
