I it's still a little unclear what the term "post-rock" is supposed to actually mean, but most music deemed part of the genre is melancholic, dramatic, and heavily instrumental. Texas-based band Bright Like the Sun makes music that fits the bill—it's dense and emotive and builds to huge crescendos.
