Watch a Model Inhale a Five-Pound Burrito in Under Five Minutes

It is a beautiful and terrifying feat.

Burritos are the greatest food innovation since ancient Roman irrigation systems. They are fully portable, reasonably priced, and hit every section of the food pyramid—starch (rice), dairy (cheese), vegetables (cilantro), fruit (salsa), and meat (beans + rice = a complete protein). I personally eat an average of 1.5 burritos a day and my body functions at Limitless levels.

I have yet to meet someone who truly appreciates the majesty of this food as much as I do, but New Zealand model Nela Zisser comes pretty close. First We Feast pointed out that the 22-year-old Zisser teamed up with Mad Mex restaurant last weekend to attempt to eat a five-pound burrito in under five minutes. She did it with 15 seconds to spare, and recorded the whole thing for your viewing pleasure. It is a beautiful and terrifying feat and I admire her dedication to the burrito cause. Watch it above.
