TODAY IS INTERNATIONAL GO SKATEBOARDING DAY

In case no one told you, today is International Go Skateboarding Day. If you’re trapped inside at school or working, now you’ve got the perfect excuse to blow off your responsibilities and tool around town all day. Even if you can’t skate, take this opportunity to start your career as a skateboard video director. If you’re typically a lone-wolf but you want some company for the holiday, use this site to find people celebrating Go Skateboarding Day all over the world.

For our part, we’ve stuffed the site with all sorts of excellent skate-related video content to honor the occasion. Patrick O’Dell’s Epicly Later’d with Lizard King works particularly well to get the creative juices gushing, and Skate Europe is enough to get anyone off the couch and into spot-searching. Lastly, we’re up to episode 3 of Doin’ it Baja, where Arto Saari, Heath Kirchart, and pals strap their boards to their Harleys and hit various skate locations on their dusty way down the coast of Baja California, Mexico.
