VBS MAILBAG: LOCALS ONLY

*We’ve done three Hi-Shred pieces in the Northeast so far. The first time we blew up the super-secret Rockaway Beach. Then we went to an unnamed spot in Montauk and showed the wrong trail (BTW, everyone knows about that spot anyways). Now for our final installment, I assume the one you’re bitching about, we surfed a barely rideable random beach break on Long Island. All three times we’ve been met by the friendliest locals while in the water and all three times some group of dorks has called for our deaths us from behind their computers. I’ve been surfing for over 20 years all over the country and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a bigger bunch of crybabies as up here.

Anyways, my friend Google tells me you’re from Connecticut, so we’ll definitely stop whoring out all those great Connecticut surf spots.*
