A few months after the Libyan people rid their country of Muammar Gaddafi, VICE correspondent Sherif Elhelwa noticed the black flag of al Qaeda flying atop the Benghazi courthouse. He managed to snap a few photographs before an armed guard approached him and took hold of his camera. He said, "Whomever speaks ill of this flag, we will cut off his tongue."
