Canadian weed has gone through some major (and to many, unwelcome) changes in 2014. In April, the Canadian government rolled out a new medical marijuana program that requires patients to patronize a government-licensed weed provider. Meanwhile, patients under the old program, who were allowed to grow at home, sued the government and won a temporary injunction to maintain their right to grow.
