WELCOME TO OUR PRETTY NEW WEBSITE

When we started VBS.TV — way back in the halcyon days of 2006 — we knew nothing about streaming online video. Not many people did. There was this one site at the time that was getting a lot of attention and that was gaining some traction called “YouTube,” but other than that things were pretty thin.

So we worked with some smart web guys and invented a fancy flash interface and were pretty smug because it looked great. But it was too hard for most people to load and it ended up fucking us in the ass traffic wise. So I, with no design experience, designed VBS 2.0. It was held together with spittle and chewing gum. The content kept getting better and better (see Shane’s new “Mission Statement”), but the site kept sucking and sucking.

Then we met these new fancy web guys (Area 17) and we cloistered ourselves with a lot of Coke Zero and re-invented VBS.TV. We’re proud of the content we make and that we finally we have a website that presents it properly to the world wide web. Enjoy.
