WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT WEEK ON VBS?

Very good question, very glad you asked. On Monday, VBS journeys to the desolate, homey wastes of California’s Imperial Valley and meets a bunch of folks who were more or less genetically made to live “off the grid.” Tuesday’s kind of more of that, but we also pay a visit to Salvation Mountain, a massive desert art installation by a guy named Leonard Knight who is pretty much the Southwestern Howard Finster (except slightly less Bibley). Wednesday, we’ve got the glorious summer return of Hi Shredability; Thursday, as always is Epicly Later’d day, and Friday Soft Focus takes a sit with Mick Collins of Detroit’s inimitable (though many have tried) Gories and Dirtbombs. Oh yeah, and over the weekend Motherboard hangs out with this crazy Australian guy who uses his body as the Internet. It’s art. See you all then! (And also before then!)
