Presented by Scion A/V and VICE, Young Americans is an eight-part documentary series about what really went down in 2012 and what young people had to say about it. Filmmaker Lance Bangs and company traveled across the United States talking to hundreds of young people about their hopes, fears, concerns, and frustrations. From parking lots, backyards, offices, protest sites, parks, couches, and convenience stores, a wide range of underrepresented voices and viewpoints emerged.
In part one, we met a few young adults from across the country and found out what they're doing with their lives these days and what their plans for the summer were.
