Z výstavy Only Good Ones: The Snapshot Aesthetic Revisited, která dnes začíná v galerii Rudolfinum máme hezky nostalgický pocit. Prezentuje krásnou historii momentek z předinstagramové doby, kterou si dnešní mladí uživatelé možná ani nepamatují. A taky se nás lehce dotýká, protože jsou tam kousky od lidí, kteří formovali obrazovou estetiku VICE, s níž před pár lety přišel svěží vítr do světa magazínu i internetu. Šlo třeba o různé fotky Dashe Snowa, Jerryho Hsu, Tima Barbera nebo Ryana McGinleyho a myslíme si, že tahle éra formování pro nás skončila smrtí Dashe Snowa na podzim roku 2009.
Michal Nanoru shromáždil i dalších asi 184 snapshots od lidí jako Larry Clark, Andy Warhol, Nan Goldin, Mike Brodie atd., které dokumentují běžné denní výjevy, intimitu, absurdity a další věci, které leckdy ani nedokážete pojmenovat, ale cítíte, že ten okamžik byl něčím fakt zajímavej.
Mimochodem nějvětší kousek, který má v Rudolfinu vystaven McGinley, jsme měli v roce 2010 na obálce čísla Hvězdného prachu a měsíčních paprsků.
