Kendrick Lamar worked the internet into a frenzy this week after announcing his intimate, eight-night "Kunta's Groove Sessions" tour in a rare Instagram post. Now he's made good on the hype by revealing the initial dates for the tour, with stops in Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC and Oakland in October and November. He'll be joined by backing band The Wesley Theory and Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate Jay Rock. Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM local time via TDE's website.
The "Groove Sessions" dates come in addition to upcoming radio station festival gigs and a one-off performance at Washington DC's Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra. Take a look at the first four "Kunta's Groove Sessions" dates and his full tour schedule below:
