Merchandise: “Anxiety’s Door”

Donnie Darko is my favourite film. Every time I ride a bike Echo and The Bunnymen play through my head. Smurfs are asexual. I believe that Jim Cunningham is the fucking anti-christ. Sometimes, I seriously doubt my friends commitment to Sparkle Motion. I fancy Gretchen Ross and one day this track will be played at our wedding. The perfect audio accompaniment to a life time spent watching her through a TV screen.

Merchandise are great. They put out one of the best LPs of 2012 and have just announced another – Totale Night – to be released in March. They’re going to be one of the most important bands of 2013. Yet, if I could describe them with one phrase – Cellar Door would be it.
