You know what's super passé? Plinky piano lines a la Dre. You know what's so much better? Plinky glockenspiel refrains a la

. The France born, London based artist kills it on "Biscotto & Chimpanzee," a loungey and frankly rather debonnair cut of synth pop. Complementing this perfectly is the song's surreal video, premiering above.

Things we dig about this video:

1. Danton's playfully louche demeanor as he frolics in a fake forest like the lovechild of Pulp's Jarvis Cocker and Suede's Brett Anderson.

Annoncering

2. The banging bodies and disco ball bras lurking in the monkey suits.

3. Danton's polka dot shirt — unisex and super cool. A nod to Mick Jagger back when his face wasn't so tree-trunky.

4. The DIY kaleidoscope effect.

5. How extra wide-eyed excited Danton gets when he spies a the monkey maidens' boobs.

Listen to Danton's second album, If Looks Could Kill, below. It was released this week via InFiné Records now.
