Porn actress/director/advocate/photographer Kimberly Kane has turned into VICE’s darling as of late. She’s got a full fashion spread in the new Showbiz Issue, she’s working on another story about her hot friend, Mandy Morbid, and tomorrow her four-episode feature (three years in the making) for my show, Skinema, will finally air. She’s suddenly everywhere, and it’s well deserved. Since we stopped filming for the show her already successful, award-winning career has rocketed to new heights. She’s been given the directing helm of Vivid’s already successful interracial series, Blackmaled (she’s also broken her own professional interracial cherry), and she’s been getting mainstream photography work, as well as filming raw fetish clips for your enjoyment/humiliation. It feels like years since I sat and spoke with her (mostly because it’s been years since I sat and spoke with her). So in a rare opportunity of self-promotion I decided to jump on iChat and catch up with Ms. Kane to discuss Skinema and see how her life has changed.
